Weekend Brunch Fixings

Weekends mean three things to me – BRUNCH, BRUNCH, BRUNCH!!!!
Who doesn’t love brunch? It’s sweet, it’s savory, it’s warm, it’s yummy AND it’s a great excuse mix up a cocktail early in the day.
So on your way home tonight, make sure to pick up the fixings to make a killer brunch this weekend.
My favorite homemade brunch includes this quiche up above with a mix green salad and glass of bubbles. Sure, it’s delicious but it’s special for a few other reasons.

If you you wanna have your eggs in a sammie instead, try making these biscuits to stuff them in. But don’t forget the bacon. Cuz everything in life is better with bacon. And cheese. And bubbles.

And if you think everything in life is better with chocolate, then this waffle will become your new BFF.

To further satisfy your sweet tooth, make these fluffy pancakes and drizzle them with LOTS of maple butter. Then save the extra maple butter to drizzle over whatever else tickles your fancy. Go crazy go crazy.

Make some fancy potatoes, if for no other reason than to say the word galette. Every time I say it, I feel oh so fancy.

If you’re making brunch for someone else, you will impress the heck out of them with this caramelized onion and radicchio quiche. Because whether you’re ready to admit it or not, impressing guests with your cooking skills ranks up there with enjoying bubbly cocktails in early daylight hours.

And make sure to add a batch of these scones into the mix. Because you are going to need something to nibble on while you work on finishing off that bottle of bubbles through out the weekend.
HAPPY BRUNCHING

For someone who declares my love for brunch, I am ashamed to admit that I have not yet had an egg-bacon-and-cheese sandwich on a freshly made biscuit. Must change this soon.

Brunch is number one in my book. What’s not to like about a meal that combines so many food types into one, not to mention that spring feeling you get with all the fancy food! Everything here looks amazing! No way I could pick a favorite!

Okay, I am definitely going to be making that quiche. I just ate lunch and after seeing that picture I am hungry again! My husband and I have gotten into this routine recently where we go to early church services on Sunday morning and come home and make a feast for breakfast. This would be perfect!
